The hive frames, the fundamental element where the colony performs all of its activities and production, were handled in parallel with the development of ApiMaye Thermo Hive type, resulting in a new frame design.

Many characteristics of conventional frames cause the producer to unnecessarily spend a lot of time, where nailing the frame together, fastening and stretching the wires across the frame, embedding the wax into the frame and attaching it to the top bar result in high labour costs and loss of time. ApiMaye handy frames prevent such loss of time, making it possible to set up a much larger number of frames in a shorter time and allowing the beekeeper to work with a larger number of colonies. These handy frames are composed of male and female components that can be

separated into two. This not only enables the foundation sheet to be conveniently inserted, but also offers, thanks to the wax holders, an alternative to wire stretching and wax embedding. Depending on preference, the fixing rods can be easily removed and the holes for wire stretching can be used instead. Handy Frames can be easily cleaned in 60° warm water and used multiple times. They are also suitable for use with uncapping machines and honey harvesting machines.
